My orientation for going back to school is rescheduled for tomorrow, so not too much of a wait! yay (for those of you who don't know, I'm going to get a second degree in nutrition...hopefully!)
Anyways, I received my food box from www.rawvolution.com yesterday! I have to say I'm pleased with the quantity of food. It didn't seem like enough to last me through a week (you get ten items, 2 of which are dessert) but it's actually a lot of food. I always eat less raw food than processed because of all the fiber and nutrients, but I still wasn't sure what to expect. The taste of some of the food was a bit, well, different..but not bad. I have to say I'm pretty satisfied with it so far, and think it's worth the money if you are like me and don't want to make your own meals, or just don't have the time. The package also arrived early actually, so I didn't have to worry about not being home for it. I felt a bit like an astronaut with all that food in plastic baggies! They left a nice little piece of paper in there so you know what each bag is, but another ingredient list would have been helpful as well. It seems once a new menu is up, there is no way to check the ingredients again for the current box you received. Here are some pics so you can see what it looked like!

I am seriously thinking about this box but am kind of still on the fence between that and making my own. How do you like it so far? How far into the week does it take you before you start having to buy additional food?
Well, the only thing I can say is to just try it, because I'm not sure if you will have the same experience as me! I'm also not sure how good you are at making raw food dishes-me,I'm HORRIBLE at it. I just don't like to cook or NONCOOK! I don't like to take the time with making my own food, so it was great for me. My only thing was one box would last me a whole week-I could eat maybe half of each of the meals and a little of the snack-and I was NEVER hungry. BUT that's not good, because it's only 2,000 calories! 2,000 calories for ONE week?? I should have forced myself to eat more-but when I ate the food in the box, I was never hungry! So, I'm not sure if you would have that experience-I'm thinking that is kind of a unique experience? I'm just weird I guess :)
