Nutrition unlimited, in Southgate, Michigan, is already a wonderful health food store. It has saved me MANY times from making a trip out to whole foods or Zerbo's in Livonia. If you live downriver, or the Detroit area, there aren't many options. Nutrition unlimited has a wide variety of supplements, and organic produce.
Even better news? They now have a juice bar!! It's only open until 4pm, but they are looking for someone part time to work it later. So, if you are looking for a health food store job, go apply fast! I'm sure the position won't be open long.
